NYX Doll Eye Mascara- Waterproof- Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

This is my favorite everyday mascara. It gives me the long sexy lashes I love with little to no effort in waterproof formula. I hate the raccoon eye look so the waterproof formula works the best for me. The waterproof formula has the same brush as the long lash formula, which is great. I love the brush because the middle of it curves in allowing the brush to form around your lashes giving you a slight curl and grabbing every single one of you lashes, and maximizing what you already have. This is a great buy and everyone needs some. You can find it at cherryculture for around $7.00 USD.

NYX Doll Eye Mascara- Long Lash- Rating: ♥♥♥♥

I think this mascara is a high quality mascara at a cheap drugstore price. You can find this at cherryculture for about $7.00 USD. I love it because gives nice long lashes with only a couple of coats. You don't have to go over and over the lashes to achieve sexy doe eye lashes. It also gives a slight volumizing effect without being clumpy or spider leg looking. My favorite thing about this mascara is the brush. The brushed is curved in the middle to fit the natural shape of the lashes, and the individual fibers on the brush are very close together. This allows for the brush to grab every single eye lash you have and maximize them. The only thing I don't like is that it is not a waterproof formula. I also found that this one tends to dry out a little faster than some of my other mascaras do, but for the price I still think that it is a good buy.

NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils- Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

I love these babies! I have heard so many ladies complain about how they crease. Ladies Ladies! There's a trick to applying these, and there will be no creasing, ever. It's simple. Just take the pencil and rub the color on your finger then apply it to you lid. This way you are not applying to much at one time making a thick gunky mess. This way always works for me. Of course, I only use these as a base for applying eyeshadows or pigments. I never use these by themselves as an eyeshadow. So, I'm not sure how they would work for that. But, if you are using this as just a base, the trick works every-time. I never use a primer (ex. UDPP...), and it still works perfectly. That just me though, and I don't have very oily lids.

You can find these on cherryculture for about $3.00 USD, and they come in 24 different shades. I plan on ordering several more, definitely Milk, Lemon, and Purple. Give me more!

NYX Carribean Collection- I Dream Of Jamaica 5 Color Palette- Rating: ♥♥♥♥

First, I must say that this palette is very pretty and has classic shades that everyone needs. The texture of these shadows are as good as MAC Veluxe Pearl shades. As I found with all of the Caribbean Collection shades that I have. In this palette you get a frosty white highlight shade, a creamy beige highlight shade, a mid-tone taupey/brown, a deep taupey/brown, and a deep charcoal black. I feel like these shades are necessary for all sorts of eye looks. By combining these basic shades with more colorful ones you can create as many gorgeous eye looks as your mind can think of. Now that I've hyped you up about this palette. I have to say that if you already have or are interested in buying the NYX For Your Eyes Only Smokey Eyes palette, do not buy the Jamaica palette. I hate to discarge you from buying this great palette, but the shades on the top row of the Smokey Eyes palette are EXACTLY the same as the Jamaica palette. Therefore, I have to recommend getting the Smokey Eyes palette over the Jamaica palette. The only reason why I say this is because both of the palettes are $8.00 USD at cherryculture, and I feel like you get more bang for your buck by getting the Smokey Eye palette since you get 10 shades instead of 5 shades. Now, I know that lots of you out there are depot-ers as am I. That is why I'm glad I have both. I plan on depotting all of my Caribbean Collection eyeshadows and adding them to a Coastal Scents 15 pan palette. So, really the choice is up to you, but at least now you know what you're working with.

NYX Carribean Collection- I Dream of Barbados 5 Color Palette- Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

I love the Barbados palette. I like to use it for a fun purple look. The shades in this palette are super soft, very similar to the MAC Veluxe Pearl shades, and are very pigmented. This is a high quality drugstore eyeshadow palette, which I find are few and far between. The packaging is compact and has a nice mirror in the inside. But as with all the NYX palettes it has that "childish" writing/drawing on the top. Really it doesn't bother me that much, because the product inside is sooo wonderful. If I had to recommend only one palette with great, wearable purple shades at a drugstore price this would totally be it. In this palette you get everything you need. You have a pretty, light silvery/purple, a deep, dark charcoal, a brighter pink shade to make everything pop, a nice mid-tone silvery/grey, and a gorgeous true purple. This true purple shade is my absolute favorite of all the purples I own, even my MAC. So many of the other purples I have are not a true purple. You know, they have variations of pink or blue in them. Which is ok, but sometimes you just want real purple! That's exactly what you get with this one. I love experimenting with this palette. It seems like every-time I wear it I create a different look with it. I know that some of you out there may be a little scared of color, and just not sure what to do with it, or just not sure how to apply it. For this I recommend this tutorial... I absolutely adore this look that JulieG713 does using this palette. She uses this same palette to create a beautiful, sexy, purplish/pink smokey eye, love it! Just in case you are wondering I am in no way affiliated with her, friends with her, or even know her. All I know is the look she created is to die for and I want to share it with you. That's it. Hope you love it!

Here's what mine turned out like. Not bad for a first try. Next time I'll be using Purple NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil. I think it will make the look a little more intense. This really is such a beautiful eye look.

NYX For Your Eyes Only- Smokey Eyes 10 Color Palette: Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

The NYX Smokey Eyes palette is amazing and a must have! This palette is all you need to create the most sultry smokey eye you have ever seen, and have enough options to wear a different one the next day. Although, I wear a different eye look from day to day. I reach for this palette at least once a week. The shades are classic shades that are must haves for any smokey eye. You can easily make this a colorful smokey eye by throwing in a purple shade, green, or whatever shade you love. It will change the whole look, but you will still be able to use the shades you already have in this palette. The eyeshadows have a nice soft texture similar to MAC's Frost and Matte2 shades, not quite as soft as the Veluxe Pearl ones, but very very close. The color pay-off is very good and equal to MAC's, imo. The packaging is a little ummm I would say childish, but very practical and durable.
The case is sleek and black with a kind of "childish" writing/drawing on the top, but inside you have a nice size mirror, and a place to hold the sponge applicator. You can purchase these at cherryculture for about $8.00 USD. There are several others to choose from, but this is the only palette in the For Your Eyes Only Collection I was interested in. They also carry the Runway Collection 10 color palettes, Carribean Collection 5 color palettes which are the same price. I will be swatching and reviewing some of these as well.

I hope you love it!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid- Rating: ♥

I have been color matched for this foundation on several occasions, and guess what... MAC doesn't make my shade!! The MA tried NC25, it was to light, and NC30 was to orange. So, no match for me! Well, I wasn't to upset about it anyway because my goodness is this foundation disgusting! It oxidized horribly, and made my face look like a grease ball. I usually have normal to dryish skin, so when the greasies came out I was very disappointed. I don't know who this foundation would be good for, just imagine if I had oily skin. Not to mention the nonexistent staying power. I took a call on my cell phone and all of my foundation was on the phone when I looked down! Yuck! So, yeah if you ask me, just leave this one on the shelf, because there are better ones out there for your money.
